I was hesitant to take on the title of Matriarch, but it's my duty as the Child of Destiny to right the wrongs of the Archfiend. I believe now I must fulfill the Matriarch's mission.

This is the toughest battle I have yet faced. Will I be able to win? I haven't the slightest idea what I should do. Ferdinand, Paulus, Vassault... Somebody, help me!

気球が夜の空を舞うことは無いでしょう。花火が気球よりも高く上ることは無いでしょう。しかし、この闇と光が産み出す感動は現実です。幻に酔いしれることは可能なのです。
Hot air balloons do not float in the night sky. Nor do fireworks fly higher than them. Yet the emotions created by this darkness and light are real. Illusions can be intoxicating.

剣は正直だ。正しく振るわねば切ることは出来ない。敵の攻撃をかわしながら、剣に正しい軌道を描かせる。これが楽しくてたまらない。俺はただ、その楽しみだけを追い求めているのだ。

The sword is honest. You must wield it correctly to cut. You must swing it in the right way while dodging the enemy's attacks. This is what I enjoy. The pleasure is all I seek.

聖王に賜った左腕。お陰で私は剣士として蘇ることができた。だが、未だにこの左腕を己の物として完全に操ることが出来ていない。今は動きを止める時だというのに、なぜ勝手に動くのだ、左腕よ！
My left arm is a gift from the Matriarch. It gave me new life as a swordsman, but I can't fully control it. You should be still now, arm! Why won't you stop moving?!

また左腕が勝手に動いた。ここは弾くのではなく、受けてから返すはずだったのだ。確かに、弾く方が防御は完璧。だが、それでは攻撃の流れが生まれない。この左腕が、我が剣技を歪めている。

My left arm moved by itself again. It parried the blow when I wanted to make a counterattack. It's true that the parry made perfect defense, but that would not allow me to create any flow of attack. This left arm is skewing with my swordsmanship.

令嬢なんて呼び方はやめて。私の家は幸運にも死食の影響が少なかっただけ。フェルディナントと逆の立場だったかもしれないわ。だから、災厄を乗り越えるために皆で協力するのは当然のことよ。

Stop calling me a lady. My family was only fortunate enough to be less affected by the Rise of Morastrum. I could've been on the opposite side of Ferdinand. So it's only natural that we should work together to overcome the calamity.

Five steps to the demon. If I awaken the Masquerade now, I can jump in three steps and bring it down with its full weight as soon as it becomes a greatsword. I can do this! Jump in with all my might!

火の術を究めていくのは、とってもやりがいがあるし、楽しくてたまらない。でも、おしゃれも楽しみたいし、みんなからカワイイって言われたい。両立するのって大変なのよね。

Studying fire spells is a very worthwhile endeavor. I absolutely love it. But I'm fashion-conscious too. I want to hear people tell me how good I look. Balancing the two is not easy work.

火の術って、防御やサポート系の術もあるんだけど、やっぱり攻撃の中心だよね。燃えやすい魔物が出てくると、すごいテンション上がっちゃうんだ。

Defensive and support fire spells do exist, but it's all about attack spells, am I right? Whenever I encounter a highly flammable monster, I get sooo excited.

A flame has no set shape. It can take any form, be it an orb, pillar, or wall. The mage imagines the shape and determines the effect of the spell. Right now, I want the flame to be a vortex and consume everything!

他の術を悪く言う気はないけど、やっぱり火術が最高でしょ？単体にも全体にも強力な術が揃ってる。火には浄化の作用もあるからアンデットにも有効だし。火術士は情熱的なのもポイントよね。

I won't trash talk other spells, but fire spells rule. Massive power against one or more foes. It's also effective against the undead because of its purifying properties. And don't forget the passion of fire mages!

アムトの月は愛の月。だからあたいは恋術士でもあるのよ。愛の炎を燃え上がらせて、二人の心を一つにする。最高の術じゃないのよ。
Moon of Amut is the Moon of Love. Thus I am also the Love Mage. Burning with the flame of love, and uniting one from pair's hearts, but it isn't a perfect spell.
